$3,595.00 |
A true conversation piece and a one-of-a-kind piece
for any Ali collector. The mortar and bark are genuine artifacts from the training camp Ali purchased in the 1970s to find the solitude he needed to train properly for his upcoming fights. The 5-acre Deer Lake, PA site, about 2 hours from New York City, was Ali's home and training camp from 1972 until he ended his career in 1981. In addition to the actual cabin pieces are a genuine bumper sticker, one of many Ali handed out to the thousands of visitors who traveled to Deer Lake to watch him train. There's a photo of Ali at training camp and his autograph in gold on a black background, all custom double-matted in a 24" x 28" black lacquer frame with gold edging.
